What Is Astrocartography?
Astrocartography is a distinctive branch of astrology that delves into the potential influences of geographic locations on an individual's chart. The fundamental premise is that different places on Earth possess unique energies capable of impacting various experiences of a person's life, and overall well-being. According to this concept, by relocating or traveling to specific locations, individuals may encounter different opportunities, challenges, and energies associated with their astrological placements.
The process of astrocartography involves several key steps. Firstly, a natal (birth) chart is created for the individual, providing a personalised map of the positions of the planets at the time of their birth, including the Sun, Moon, and other celestial bodies, in relation to the zodiac. We then map the positions of planets from the natal chart onto the Earth's surface. Each planet is linked to specific qualities, and when a planet's line intersects with a particular location on the map, it is believed to exert an influence on the individual's experience in that area.
We then interpret the astrocartography map, suggesting that living or spending time in areas where certain planets are emphasised may affect various aspects of a person's life. For instance, if the Sun line runs through a location, it is thought to enhance one's vitality, confidence, and self-expression.
Its important to look at the condition of your planets if you are planning to move somewhere. Just because someone else's Jupiter works well for them, does not mean it will work well for you. You want to move to the planet that has the most positive aspects or where the house you would like to strengthen activated by putting it on the Asc.
