Because of the poor condition of my ex's Sun (he had squares and oppositions which provided difficulties with his own self esteem. The lack of confidence projected onto me. Lots of criticism, insecurities etc leading me to feel insecure. There were pros and cons to the relationship, but in regard to what the sun represents which is confidence, self esteem, this was heightened issues within the relationship. One of the good things that happened was how encouraging he was of me expanding parts of my business. encouraging me to do conferences and workshops. The house person can easily misunderstand the sun person especially as this is a mysterious, things arent always what they seem.

Personal experience: Taurus sits in my 12th house. Taurus highlights values, self esteem, security. In my younger years i made a load of mistakes with money and the things i thought i valued, actually didn't have value. All the taurus I met over the years taught me so much about money and highlighted the importance of making better choices with my finances. They helped me to self undo a lot of learnt behaviour over the years.
